Extending the fun beyond the classroom

Students regularly extend their contact with the Greco-Roman world beyond the classroom through student-run activities. The types of activities vary widely, ranging from sponsoring lectures by world-renowned scholars, to organizing readings of classical works, to hosting movie nights and other social-academic functions.

Classics Club
The Classics Club offers students the opportunity to interact with others who share their interest in the Greco-Roman world. Any student is welcome to join the Classics Club and play an active role in all club activities. Meetings are regularly announced in Classics courses and on the Classics Department's Facebook page. For further information, contact the current club president, or the current faculty sponsor, Dr. Allison Sterrett-Krause. The Club has a Facebook page and Instagram account (@cofcclassicsclub).
